I found the main character not very appealing in the beginning but ended up liking her and the story in the end.

It was OK. I did find that I lost interest along the way sometimes. It may not have been the story's fault though. I have had my mind on other things.

I found it a little strange to read as it was written from the perspective of 5 year old Jack. However, I did enjoy it.

The Secret Life of Bees
A truly enjoyed this book. A friend of mine lent it to me as she noticed that I was always reading and felt I would enjoy it. She was right. I also now have the movie on DVD. It is very well done and follows the book very closely.

I found this book amazing yet sad. It is hard to believe how cruel humans can actually be. I read a lot of books and many I sell or give away after I have read them. Not this one, it is a keeper.

It started out a little slow but I stuck with it and ending up really enjoying it. Now onto the next in the series.

Read this book a while ago. It is one of those books that must be read several times. You get more out of it each time. My favourite saying is from this book.

Tried to read this book on several occasions but it just did not keep by interest. I finally decided not to bother with it anymore so I have never finished it. It may be a good book but not for me.
The Help Deluxe Edition
Really enjoyed this book. However, it does make me angry that their is so much prejudice in this world. We have come a long way but we still have a long way to go.
